Philippine’s new President War on Drugs may turn out to be the most ferocious campaign the world have ever seen. Rodrigo Duterte got elected because he promised to eradicate drugs within 6 months. Sound like impossible, but for 16 Million Filipinos who voted for him don’t really care as long as he has the political will to do it.
Rodrigo Duterte has been tag as one of the most notorious rulers in the history of mankind. Duterte was quoted saying “I don’t care about Human Rights, believed me”, well that may sounds inhumane if you put it in international norms. But in the Philippines, Human Rights are only applicable for those who committed the crime. CHR are more concerned about the welfare of the criminals rather than the victims themselves.
The Philippines Commission On Human Rights (CHR) headed by Chito Gascon, a Liberal Party official appointed by former Philippine President Benigno Aquino III, said the rising casualties at the height of President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs was “unprecedented” since the commission was established in 1987.
It’s not surprising for him to give such statement considering the fact that he came from the same political party of the previous Aquino administration. Could his statement be affected by a conflict of interest that could influence his point of view towards the present administration?
As of September 15, 2016, there are 16,891 drug personalities arrested, 712,848 surrendered to the police. This statistics has never been done before by the previous administration. Aren’t they proud and happy of what the present Government is doing now to stop or at least minimize drug related crimes?
Why has Senator Delima keeps on presenting unreliable witness to the senate? Despite lack of evidence against extra judicial killings. Is this a propaganda of the opposition to unseat the current president of the Philippines? How far will Delima, Trillanes and all yellowtards go and use all their resource to stop Duterte on his campaign on Drugs. Crab Mentality at its finest!
Media controlled and owned by oligarchs have nothing better to do than destroy and criticize Duterte and twist their story. Often times misquoting him.
The facts about drug addicts in the Philippines can be scary, a total estimate of 3 million addicts and Duterte is more than happy to liquidate them. Drug addicts are often intimidating, and they can be all too real for individuals who are dealing with a drug dependency. Drug addiction is definitely quite a complex disease in the Philippines that impacts an individual both physically and psychologically.
Most of the crimes committed in the country is related to drugs just to satisfy their cravings. Irrational thinking is an indication of Drug Addiction. Their irrational mode of thinking can put them at odds with family and friends and in direct conflict with reality. Much of the suffering associated with addiction is due to the individual’s inability to think rationally about things.
Despite negative feedback from Western and European countries including media, Duterte still gets 90% approval ratings from fellow countrymen.
I laud the present Philippine Government for their campaign against “war on drugs”. Yes there will be killings because drug lord and politician are trying to hide them self from being expose by those pushers arrested by the Philippine National Police headed by Chief PNP Ronaldo “BATO” Dela Rosa.
