There are many ways to give your metabolism an extra boost – that includes daily exercise like running or lifting weights 4-8 hrs after you stop exercising – but eating can also be an ingredient in increase metabolism.
Increasing your metabolism means your body burns more calories at a faster rate. If your metabolism is high, it is burning more calories even when you aren’t running or lifting heavy weights. A slow metabolism can or will cause you to gain weight, because you are consuming more than your body is burning.
The first thing you need to do is add breakfast to your daily meal planner. Again, I cannot stress enough the importance of breakfast every day. Although many people don’t like eating breakfast, it gives your body the rev up it needs to jump start your metabolism. A low-calorie snack is all it takes to give your metabolism an extra push in the morning.
Another way to increase your metabolism is to drink Green tea. Green tea extract increases your metabolism slightly and can help you lose weight along with proper diet and exercise. Drinking Green tea four to five times a day can help your body burn an extra 60 calories and if you substitute tea for juice or soda those extra 60 calories may help you slim down.
While you’re planning and creating a successful personal plan for healthy weight loss, It is also a good idea to add Broccoli, Apples, Pears to your diet. Broccoli is high in calcium and vitamin C and is low on calorie. Apples and pears will help you satisfy your sugar cravings and people who include fruits to their diet tend to lose more weight than people who do not add fruits to their diet. You will feel full longer and eat less.
Dividing your meal to 6 times a day into smaller portion will help keep your metabolism working all day. Strange as it may sound, it will definitely help you lose weight.
